Overview: 

This one-hour webinar continues to explore Microsoft’s AI tool, Copilot.  See how you can harness its power to summarize documents, enhance communications, draft content, and analyze data.  Demonstrations include using Copilot within Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, and other Office applications.  This course introduces legal professionals to advanced ways of using Microsoft Copilot within Microsoft 365 applications to enhance efficiency and productivity. Participants will explore how Copilot can assist with summarizing and analyzing documents, drafting content, improving communications, and working across tools such as Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Excel. Through practical demonstrations, the session highlights how AI can streamline everyday legal tasks and support more effective document and data management.

The course also focuses on building essential skills such as effective prompting, using the Prompt Gallery to store and share prompts, and understanding when to use Copilot Chat versus inline drafting and editing. Participants will learn how to create new files based on existing documents, manage different file types, and efficiently edit spreadsheets containing legal data. Additionally, the session introduces various tools and agents that expand Copilot’s capabilities, helping users reduce manual effort and optimize their workflows.
